DPDC is located between the Infosys Campus in Mysore and the Brindavan Garden in Mandya, i.e. on the boarder of Mysore-Mandya Districts. It is 15 kms from the Mysore Railway Station and 3kms from the Infosys Campus.
DPDC was founded by the Vincentian Fathers of the South Indian Province of the Congregation of mission and is managed under the Vincentian Education Society.

Yes. We have a multi-cuisine canteen that provides dishes of international standards, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, the latter every day except Fridays. The college also has another canteen that is open from 9 am to 6 pm.
Any time between 8 am and 6 pm, with prior intimation to the respective Residence Directors or Principal.
No restrictions in general, if approved by parents who have to seek permission from / intimate the respective Residence Directors or Principal, as long as they maintain 75% attendance in every subject to appear for any University exams, and at the same time, frequent absence from classes can certainly affect the academic performance of the students; so parents are not encouraged to be liberal in this aspect.
Yes, but not in the college block, as per the code of conduct in the college. Violation can attract hefty fines depending on the discretion of the disciplinary committee. The college has ensured that students have enough mobile-time during times other than the college hours, library, dining hall, study time, etc.
Generally every other Sunday besides other emergencies or special permission from parents. The management also respects some of the parents’ instructions not to send their wards outside the campus at all without their permission.
The college provides preliminary medical aid on the campus itself, and if required, sees that students get proper and timely medical care in a specialty hospital under the supervision of the Residence Directors.
Yes. The college has introduced many scholarships for students under various categories. You can get the details of them at the time of admission and apply for them by filling up appropriate application forms which in turn will assessed by the management and students will be informed about their eligibility.
Yes. It is mandatory for all 6th Semester students to complete 50 hours of internships in organizations of their choice assisted by the internship coordinators of the college.
