Hindi Anthakshari

To commemorate the “World hindi day”, De Paul college Hindi department celebrated hindi diwas with enthusiasm and had organized online hindi-anthakshari program.

World Hindi Day is celebrated every year on 10 January. Its purpose is to create awareness for the promotion and propagation of HINDI in the world and to introduce hindi as a international language. The first world hindi conferences were started and the first world hindi conference was held in Nagpur on 10 January 1975 and since then this day has been celebrated as “World Hindi Day” The aim of this is to create awareness for the spread of hindi in the world, to introduce hindi as an international language, to create an atmosphere for hindi, to create affection for hindi, to create awareness for the condition of hindi and hindi has to be presented as the world language. There were good number of participants to witness the online anthakshari, enthusiast participants were divided into four teams and with six various rounds anthakshari was a big hit. Around 30 students and staff took part in the virtual session and sang melodious, mesmerizing hindi songs.
