The cell’s key objectives include promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of college life, providing support and resources for students and staff from underrepresented groups, addressing issues related to discrimination, harassment, and bullying, fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and inclusivity, and celebrating diversity and promoting cross-cultural understanding. Objectives

  • To establish partnerships with external organizations and agencies to provide resources, support, and opportunities for students and staff from underrepresented groups.
  • To conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure that college policies, procedures, and practices are equitable and inclusive.
  • To provide a safe and confidential space for students and staff to report incidents of discrimination, harassment, or bias, and to ensure that all complaints are investigated and addressed promptly.
  • To celebrate and promote diversity and inclusion through events, programs, and activities that showcase the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives of the college community.
  • To develop and maintain a resource center or website that provides information, support, and resources on diversity, equity, and inclusion for students, staff, and faculty.
